Homelessness is more than not having a roof over your head. It affects every part of your life. Many homeless people watch their birthdays come and go uncelebrated. This is an opportunity to let them know that they are valued, cared about and not forgotten.
It will be a festive celebration including a barbeque, cake, ice cream, music, prizes/ gifts and even haircuts for the guests. We are hoping to serve about 150-200 people on Thursday, July 15, 2010.
