When I think of James’ story, Galatians 6:9 (NIV) comes to mind:
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
One of the things that James has shared with us at the Mission, is how he learned the importance of continual kindness and patience. James understands that the people you help may not be ready for change immediately. But in God’s timing, one day they may be. “If you keep on helping, that light will shine,” James says.
